Hello again to everyone!! Hope you all had a wonderful holiday.
Well to keep you up to date with my progress and in my quest to accomplish my goal in not only raising the money for this wonderful charity but in my progress as far as running. My longest run so far has been 8 miles!!!! Yes your reading this right. Before I ever joined Team in Training my longest run was 3 miles, I have come a long way and I still have more to go, But I know I can do it!!! I have even run in 29 degree weather! But as I said before I have nothing to complain about as these children are fighting for their lives running in rain, sleet or snow is not a barrier that will keep my goal and spirit from doing something that is so important.
Now as far as raising the money, that has been very slow and I understand it is the holiday season and people are thinking of gifts to buy for their loved ones, but please try to put The Leukemia Society on that list, some of these children might not be able to see another Christmas, so PLEASE find it in your heart to give even if it is very little, because every penny counts.
